About Me

My original career was in Oceanography and Marine Science. I’ve been on around 40 research cruises including leading two as Chief Scientist. I’ve also worked as a small boat operator, leading trips to scientific moorings and conducting sampling.

In 2021, I decided to make the shift to aviation and started on my goal to get a private pilot certificate. Years and many certificates/ratings later, I’m an instructor at Plus One Flyers. I’m also the owner of 6409D, a 172n rented out at Montgomery Field.

I’ve always had a passion for teaching and I’ve carried that from my previous career and into flight instructing. I love sharing the thrill of aviation with students. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch and we can discuss your goals and how we can achieve them.
